What is the appropriate power connection to a sony stereo boat?
I connected the black to the existing black wire and the red cable existing red. I have nothing I have to connect the yellow wire on the stereo. With the black to black and red to red, I get no power to the stereo when the engine is in accessory position. "I can try to hook the yellow cable in the red Stereo power?
power is turned red, the yellow wire must be connected to a constant 12v source for memory. If you have no power button, which can connect the red and yellow to a constant, just be sure to turn off the radio when you leave the boat. Many people prefer to have a radio that can be activated using the switch was in a boat.
